Retro Leather Jackets
Source:- Google.com.pkThe term retro has been in use since the 1970s to describe[1] on the one hand new artefacts that
self-consciously refer to particular modes, motifs, techniques, and materials of the past.[2] But
on the other hand, some people (incorrectly) use the term to categorise styles that have been
created in the past.[3] Retro style refers to new things that display characteristics of the
past. It is mostly the recent past that retro seeks to recapitulate, focusing on the products,
fashions and artistic styles produced since the Industrial Revolution, of Modernity.[4] The word
"retro" derives from the Latin prefix retro, meaning "backwards, or in past times"
Retro style is style that is consciously derivative or imitative of trends, modes, fashions, or
attitudes of the recent past.

reviews:
1-This jacket fits about one size large.
I am 5'8" 185 and about a 39 inch chest. I usually wear a 40R or smaller in a jacket. When
comparing this jacket to the Twin Iron and Race Vented, I ordered a 40 in all of them, figuring I
would keep at least one.
First, an odd thing not mentioned anywhere: the "piping" that trims features of this jacket is a
hard, but flexible material - think of pipe cleaners. Look at the trim around the pocket flaps;
notice the rounding "piping" like trim; it isn't soft like it's just fabric. There's something in
there. It will bend if you press it, but it stays how you bend it. It's very odd, but it causes
no problems. The same "piping" is on the button flaps on the shoulder, as well as around the hem
at the waist.
The look of the jacket is awesome, and the leather feels great and very durable. I imagine the
air flow is good with the vents, but I don't know. I only wore it in my apartment and garage, as
with the other jackets.
This jacket is way bigger (at the same size 40) than the Race Vented, but slightly smaller than
the Twin Iron. It was very relaxed when standing. But when I sat on the bike and reached up for
the handlebars, the extra material around my chest kept the shoulders from pulling in, and I
ended up with a bunch of material and the seam sort of digging into my upper biceps.
Plus, the sleeve openings are very large. I could pull the sleeves half-way up my forearms. And,
yes, that's with them zipped shut; there is no adjustment.
If you are usually on the small end of a size scale, I would recommend ordering one size down. If
you usually fit toward the upper end, you'll probably be fine ordering your true size.
Of course, that doesn't help you if, like me, you would then need a 38 which isn't offered by
River Road!
2-The jacket seems to be very good quality and it fit as it said it would on the website. I was
disappointed though, as I bought it for a Christmas present and the snap on the wrist was broken.
Otherwise, he likes the jacket and says it is very warm.
3-Love the styling. The fit is on the large size. Lots of pockets. Doesn't offer a lot of armour
protection but I suppose at the price point this is ok with me.
4-I love this jacket. It paired well with my SP-8 gloves. Little hot if you're not wearing the
right layer under it, but it is comfortable and fit is great.
5-I purchased this jacket and was happy ut quickly start having issues with the zipper. It would
not stay zipped from the bottom up and then started opening up in the middle while being zipped
up. For 499 I expected a whole lot more so much for getting what you paid for.
6-Amazing jacket. Looks awesome, leather is nice and soft, breathable, there is armor all around,
and the whole thing just feels very high quality. This is my second leather jacket and it just
blows my old one away. I'm surprised it's not already sold out for only $300 closeout. I'm 5'8
170 pounds and a size 50 fits nice and snug with a klim d3o back protector and bio chest guards
installed.
