1-Simply stated, you can't ask for more out of a ladies leather jacket designed to be part of a two-piece race set. This jacket is INCREDIBLY comfortable when broken in. It is easy to wear and feel protected in matched with a different set of pants, or zipped onto the Xena legs. All RevIt sizing seemed to be a bit small for me, I would order a size larger. The jacket breathes INCREDIBLY well. Up to about 95 degrees, in the summer, in the wind I am comfortable. You sweat, but you breathe, and it's almost like a soggy portable air conditioner on your bike. The leather holds up to some abuse (I've got 10k miles on my jacket) and cleans up remarkably well. I use Renapur to care for my leathers, and I expect this set to last for years. If I go down in the Xena set, I know that I will be protected. They use great quality leather, the dyes they use are outstanding (A summer in the sun, 10k miles on the jacket and the black hasn't faded, nor has the green. The white still cleans up bright and shiny and new.) The quilted vest offers a lot of warmth, and down to about 40 degrees, with under-armor heat gear I'm comfortable in this jacket. This is my first set of leather gear, and I simply can't ask for more. Plus... well.. leather makes you feel like WONDER WOMAN! A NOTE: I had an extremely difficult time obtaining the RevIt back protector for this jacket. It DOES NOT COME WITH A BACK PROTECTOR. I wore my Stryker vest beneath it (which does, by the way, fit under the pants and allow the entire set to connect) until I could find the Rev'It back protector. I spoke w/ RevIt and they directed me to an eBay advertisement for one (searched for it themselves) to help me locate it, but I think it MAY be back in stock here.
2-The Xena jacket fits as described and offers a sense of confidence in its quality of protection, although I wish it came with the back pad, which is sold out. The jacket is well-crafted and easy to use--it even has one inside pocket! I have only used it riding casually on the street and not yet on the track. Don't forget to get a thin, wicking underlayer during warmer months as the jacket is hard to get on and off if you are slightly sweaty!
