The Alpinestars Stella GP Plus R Jacket is constructed from a luxurious, premium leather chassis with strategic stretch inserts.The fit is comfortable, the airflow is limited to just one spot on the arms and a zipper vent below each collarbone which is good for cold weather, but definitely too hot for summer. The material is soft and the armor fits nice, not too big. The waterproof pocket is awesome, as well as the multiple Velcro pockets on the inside. It has a snap for a back protector and an inner slot if you want to get one that's not strapped to your body. The only thing I wish it had is an inner liner for the extra cold nights. Besides that, I fully stand by this jacket. It's super stylish and by far the best investment I've made so far!
I have an assortment of vests and textile jackets, but was looking for something that offered more protection. I did a lot of research and was hesitant to shell out so much money for this jacket, but it was money VERY well spent. The jacket fits true to the sizing chart, it has great protection, and the pre curved arms are great! The jacket does bunch slightly in the front when sitting in the bike, but that's my only complaint. The vents by the shoulders give nice air flow, even in the AZ summer. The waterproof pocket was also a huge selling point for me, as I do ride during monsoons, and now I won't have to worry about my phone.

Chose because I wanted a modern streamlined look that was high visibility. Quality construction, very well made. I don't feel like a linebacker in this! Love the colors. Liner is thick, havent tried yet in 50 deg or lower weather but certainly more substantive liner compared to other jackets. Sleeves are a little long but are right length when riding. Hopefully won't become irritating to deal with when just wearing jacket off the bike. Otherwise is a great fit.
I love this jacket. I didn't realize how bulky my old Paul Thomas textile was or how much I hated it until I bought this jacket. The cut is slimming and flattering. The armor is excellently placed and streamlined. I still feel 100% protected even though this jacket is both lighter and smaller than my old textile jacket. I haven't ridden with the liner on yet, but it feels very warm and is easy to remove. This jacket is the perfect 3 seasons jacket (or 4 seasons if you live in SF like me). There are no vents, but the perforation is enough airflow for me.I'm incredibly happy with this jacket. I haven't had to put it to the crash test, but I'm confident it will hold up.Product amazing, modern look and comfortable. The sport lost a legend when Gary Nixon passed, and to honor that memory Speed and Strength has created an American Gary Nixon Replica Jacket proudly displaying the Stars and Stripes as Gary would have.

Jacket is very comfortable, has great features and looks great on. Plenty of ventilation, and so much armour it makes you feel safe. Ride in it everyday and you will have no complaints. This jacket is great! It fits true to size and is pretty comfortable. The airflow is pretty good for a leather jacket and the included vest is pretty warm for cool weather riding. The leather is thick and does a great job protecting me. I recently had a lowside crash and slid down the road for a bit. The jacket is slightly scuffed here and there but there's not a scratch or bruise on my upper body. The leather held up and the pads worked like they were supposed to. It is on the pricey side but this jacket is worth the premium price tag.This jacket is a great product. The leather looks wonderful and smooth. The perforation flows air nicely from front to back. I really feel the air flow! The arms don't get much air though. The jacket is definitely a slim fit. I do wish the coat tail was longer as it would cover more of my lower back to butt area when in the crouch position. Other than that, I love it. The price is on the higher side for a jacket but the quality and protective features make it worth it. It doesn't come with a back protector but I use my own. You can always buy their back protector insert. The airflow won't beat a mesh jacket but the looks and protection sure do!

Ample reflective striping.I LOVE this jacket. This will be perfect for my cross-country ride.The leather feels great and with use, it will get even better.
The liner is gorgeous and what I'd expect from a leather jacket (unlike the Scorpion 1909 jacket's liner, which I got before this jacket and returned). The chest and "key" pocket (on the right side) are well placed and sized. And the inner pockets are perfect.
I can use this jacket for motorcycle and non-motorcycle use. This is unlike my all-season jacket which I look and smell the motorcycle part with when using on a train or grocery shopping.
I actually like that the jacket did not come with armor. I only wish they provided specifications on armor sizes and shapes so people can get the right armor from other vendors.
I decided on the Icon D3O armor (aka T5 Evo armor) for the shoulder and elbow and using the Klim D3O Viper T5 Pro Back Protector I already have and use on all my jackets. They seem to fit well with little movement (it's currently Winter and it will be awhile before the weather is good enough for me to test this).The jacket has a great fit and the liner provides plenty of extra warmth as the temperature drops.I HIGHLY recommend this jacket for anyone looking for a casual jacket that they can also use as a regular jacket (off the bike).Overall this jacket is definitely worth it for the price, even with armor sold separately.
